Building a Better Lowell Together

1
City Budget and Taxes
I am committed to ensuring Lowell’s financial health while easing the burden on residents and businesses. My focus is on making sure every tax dollar is spent wisely by prioritizing essential services, eliminating unnecessary expenses, and finding innovative revenue sources. By pursuing public-private partnerships and grant opportunities, we can reduce reliance on tax increases. Transparency in budgeting is a top priority, and I will work to ensure that the community is engaged in financial decisions so we can build trust and confidence in how our city operates.
2
Fair and Affordable Housing
I believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. That’s why I’ll advocate for initiatives that increase affordable housing options and support responsible development that meets the needs of our city’s growing population. I’ll work with developers, nonprofits, and state agencies to expand housing availability without displacing our residents or compromising the character of our neighborhoods. Protecting renters’ rights, encouraging the rehabilitation of older properties, and creating more pathways to homeownership will be my focus. I want to ensure that families in Lowell can build their future here without being priced out of their community.
3
Service Small Business Support
Small businesses are the backbone of Lowell’s economy, and I’m committed to helping them succeed. I will work to streamline the permitting process, improve access to city-backed funding programs, and connect entrepreneurs with mentorship opportunities. I also recognize that infrastructure challenges—like limited parking—make it harder for small businesses to grow, especially downtown. I will work to address these issues so that businesses can thrive and bring more customers into our city. Supporting our local entrepreneurs isn’t just about economic growth; it’s about strengthening Lowell’s identity and sense of community.
